We absolutely loved staying at this fabulous property in the heart of town. The location couldn't be better, just a short stroll away from the main square. The self-catering accommodation was well-equipped and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely flowers and welcome basket upon our arrival. The host, Nikky, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The wood-burning fire in the lounge was a real treat on chilly evenings, creating a cozy atmosphere. The secluded walled garden with outdoor furniture was a perfect place to relax, and the free parking right in front of the property was a huge convenience. we found everything to be in excellent condition and of great quality, making our stay truly enjoyable.

Great value for money! The room at Goshen Cottage was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center. The staff, especially Nikky, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Upon arrival, the cottage was quite cold and there were no clear instructions on how to get the central heating going. It would have been helpful to have a basic kitchen washing up kit provided, as well as a long handled broom and larger dust pan.

The location of the property was really convenient, just a short walk away from the main square in town. It was great to have all the pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Also, the fact that there was free parking right outside the front door was a huge plus.

One of the downsides was the bed in the main bedroom. While the mattress was comfortable, the bedstead was not ideal.

Everything was super clean and extremely well-equipped, from the crockery and glassware to the supplies of tea and coffee. The welcome basket and comprehensive local information booklet were both EXCELLENT and greatly appreciated. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the town center and the playground. The backyard with artificial grass and decking was a great space to enjoy the morning sunshine, and my toddler loved the play tent. The property itself had plenty of space, spread over three floors, and the kitchen and dining room were modern, bright, and spacious. I would highly recommend this place for exploring the Scottish Borders and all the activities it has to offer. an amazing experience!
